Adobe Edge Makes Online Ads Searchable and More!

The team has yet again shared some great tips, trends and links to help optimize your social strategy. Here are some we thought were particularly interesting.

Adobe’s New Edge Program Makes Online Ads Searchable: As an alternative to Flash, the Edge tool allows companies to create advertising content that Google can index in search results. It also encourages animation into a brand’s Web site or online ad.

The State and Future of Social Business: Industry Analyst, Jeremiah Owyang, highlights some big social business trends to be thinking about in 2012. Some of these include the rebirth of corporate websites, social performance becoming automated and the price of being heard.

Schedule Posts to Facebook Pages: In case you didn’t already know, Facebook is finally allowing you to schedule posts to your Page at a later time. You can schedule a post up to six months in advance and in 15-minute intervals. Here’s how:

  • Choose the type of post you want to add to your Page.
  • Click the time icon in the lower-left of the sharing tool.
  • Choose the future year, month, day, hour and minute when you’d like your post to appear.
  • Click ‘Schedule’.

Create Your Own Infographic: A picture is worth a thousand words. Information graphics are a great way to express data or knowledge through a visual representation. Here’s a great site to help you showcase your own data.
