Room 214 is Hiring: Account Manager

We are seeking a motivated account manager to support Room 214 clients’ social media marketing campaigns through research, content, community engagement and reporting. Must have a passion for figuring out what’s next, what’s possible, and what delivers results in digital marketing.

Show us what you’ve got! (aka requirements)

  • Two to four years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a brand’s tone of voice
  • Strong relationship-building, organizational, and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Drive (presentations, spreadsheets, and documents)
  • Experience establishing reporting metrics, and ability to glean insights from community platforms that are applicable to the overall brand goals
  • Education: Undergraduate Degree

What do you want to do? (aka, key responsibilities)

  • Work with account supervisors, account directors and managing partners to support client social media campaigns
  • Create and curate content to be published across platforms (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) according to specified guidelines
  • Engage with fans within the communities, asking and answering questions and building relationships with fans on behalf of brands
  • Research, identify, and track key online influencers and engage in strategic outreach
  • Monitor online conversations and route appropriately via online monitoring tools
  • Compile data across several social media platforms and create reports as needed
  • Monitor the latest trends in social media and search marketing. Provide recommendations on how Room 214 and clients can better leverage new tools and services
  • Write content to support internal campaigns, including newsletters, articles, blogs and videos

  • Blogging experience
  • Basic HTML and CSS: (Dreamweaver)
  • Photoshop or graphic editing software
  • Experience creating and managing Pay-Per-Click accounts
  • Keyword research experience and Search Engine Optimization
  • Willingness to experiment
